Granton's Dada piece "Switch" recently unveiled
November 22, 2001.

SWITCH is one of Granton's latest pieces made of found objects: an artist's palette, a discarded xerox copy, a broken light switch and the lid of a can of paint, very rusty. Elements here are electricity, paper, metal, rust, plastic, carbon and paint. It brings together the two humanities disciplines of literature and art with the sciences. The piece is very striking and has allegorical meaning. The idea is that one can switch on or off one's thoughts and that light can enter one's life through the arts.
